Yering Station Pinot Noir 2023

Share

Matured in 500L puncheons for 8 months of which 17% was new oak. Magenta, where red and purple meet. This junction is where the wine fits. Violet and lavender perfume with red cherries and blackberries. Boysenberry and two tone mulberry. Plums skin and sangria. A base note of allspice and lifted sage leaf. Fruit doubles down on the palate with briary tones replaced with blackcurrant and blueberries. Befitting dusty tannins and once again a wine that refreshes the palate on the finish. A smart wine. Drink now and will cellar up to 3 years further. A wonderful wine for wild mushroom pasta.
