Plenty of generous McLaren Vale Shiraz in this wine. It’s a wild combination of plums and raisins with a slightly liquorice character on the nose. The palate is rich and quite generous with an almost explosive release of flavours. Tight oaken tannin structure provides the support you need to carry this wine through to its finish. It’s a wine that will handle a little bit of time in the cellar, but it’s thoroughly enjoyable now.
