As you might guess from the name, this wine is a steak-lover’s dream. It’s big and brash and a tad rough around the edges but it shines a bit more when paired with protein (even a roast chook or spicy tofu would go well with it). There’s lots of plum, tangy boysenberry, black cherry and black pepper, with a dash of smoke. It’s still quite young, so either have it with your dinner or give it a few more years to even out. Also 10% Cabernet Sauvignon in the mix.
