Smooth and luscious with hints of almond, wild honey and toasted nuts amid a ripe showing of summer stone fruits, the Garganega grape lives up to its reputation as a white wine star of Italy’s northern Veneto region. Its signature aromatic richness is fully embraced here. Mid gold in colour. Yellow peach, nectarine, melon, citrus, apple and pear bring a complex set of flavours to the glass. Like previous releases, it edges into the savoury with tart citrus skin and almond, honey notes. Creamy oak influences the middle palate texture. Acidity is fresh, keen and in control, ensuring good cellaring potential in the short to medium term.
