Atze’s Corner Mob Montepulciano 2022

This famous Italian variety has found a comfortable home in the Barossa with its warm to even hot dry summers. The nose has an underpinning dark fruit of blackberry and plum, but there’s a spicy dried herb character across the top. It’s generous but more medium bodied with a dry savouriness, and that dried herb character tightens the finish as it focuses. This is an ideal food style wine, and plenty to like about it.
