Barbera Nebbiolo d’Soumah 2024

The northern Italian blend makes so much logical sense, that it’s drunk domestically in the Bramaterra DOC bottlings and rarely seen on our shores . Here you’ll find the enticing red toffee apple skin aromas, that meet with hibiscus and red cherries. Pink peppercorn and dried red pepper flakes spice.  Its slurpable mid palate is supported by its swathe of dry tannins and prompt acidity, turning out a crunchy but equally age worthy wine. Some dried brown spices and a subtle hint of chewing tobacco on the finish.  A great wine for spicy meat packed calzones and a hand of cards. That is one good night. Excellent value, more wine like this and I am one happy lady.
