Bec Hardy Garden Series Coonawarra Cabernet 2022

A fine follow up to the team’s excellent 2021, Coonawarra Cabernet remains one of the world’s top wines. Dark mauve in hue, there is a slight austerity here. The aromas weave through bay leaf notes, cigar boxes, blackcurrants, cloves and hints of licorice topped by pleasing touches of truffle and cassis as well. A mid length style with fine tannins that should drink beautifully for the next four to six years – longer if well cellared.
