Bellbrae Estate Tetaz Chardonnay 2023

Share

Rich but nicely controlled and balanced. Savoury on opening with nougat, nut brittle and cedar, making way for deep flint, cooked peach and delicate fig. Candied lime and a saline mineral shot run through the core as the wine settles. The palate walks the same line of richness and freshness, with a suave texture wrapping around citrus preserves, peach, grilled nuts, cedar and flint. Good grip through a savoury finish of solid length, with waves of acidity to foil any heft. Low-toned and complex, with strong structural counterpoints. A food wine for sure.
