Shiraz in the doldrums with drinkers? Not with a Shiraz like this.  This little beauty brings all of its Central Victorian deliciousness to the glass – a free flowing, easy going, Aussie style built upon a solid fruit foundation with little obvious artefact. And, yes, there is balance, which is very much a Block 6 strong point.  Ripe plum, black fruits meet chocolate, spice and concentrated aniseed-blackstrap liquorice, and it’s a warm-hearted, elegance that results. The palate is built around a solid core of fine tannins, carrying flavours long. Definitely hard to stop at just one glass.
