Blue Pyrenees Section 26 Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

Share

A northerly aspect with old vines from an elevated site, this Cabernet Sauvignon shows ripe blackberry, blackcurrant, and a wisp of blackcurrant leaf plus sage leaf and fresh bay leaf with nutmeg and worn leather. The palate is a gentle rolling wave of acidity and more moderate tannins than anticipated. A medium weighted wine, that would suit an array of palates. Drink with ham hock or pea and ham soup.
