This is a pleasant and enjoyable Pinot which is starting to show some bottle age but is still very much a fruit-filled drop. The nose and palate shows enticing characters of sour cherry, raspberry, musk, stemminess, mushroom and earth, with a silky mouthfeel and some chewy, dusty tannins. It pairs particularly well with cheese, pasta and spicy dishes, and I think it needs a bit more time in the bottle for all the elements to come together, but it’s still quite nice now.
