Bromley Wines Eclipse Rose 2021

How good is Australian rosé when it is done right and not just an afterthought? Here we’ve got Pinot Noir from a premium wine growing region beautifully crafted into a rosé with genuine flavour and complexity. Pale onion skin pink in colour, it is pretty and detailed with perfumed watermelon, white strawberry and rose petal aromas. But it is on the palate where it really shines with impressive flavour impact and juicy acidity with the texture and extract of a light-bodied red. Flavours meander between red berries, spices, musk sticks and fruit pastilles before a long and powerful finish. You could keep this in the cellar for a couple of years but it is also well suited right now to tapas.
