This is a Grenache Shiraz Mataro blend, sourced from the Barossa Valley. It’s a bright and juicy red-fruited, medium-bodied wine, displaying some delightful, bright fruit characters. On the nose, you pick up the red fruits and even a little strawberry nuance. And then the palate delivers a more spicy expression of this combination. It was matured in 100% seasoned French oak puncheons for 15 months before bottling with no fining or filtration. It’s a pure expression of this blend and a thoroughly delightful drink over the next few years.
