Campos de Viento Tempranillo 2022

Offers a little bit more than most wines at this price point. Captures the Tempranillo grape well as a medium bodied, clean, fine tannin-ed red with lovely red fruits bristling in light spices. Overall, it’s a fine, more elegant expression of Tempranillo from the centre of Spain.  There seems to be little or no oak involved which then allows the fruit to shine and it does. Cherry, plum, blueberry, dried leaves and red earth are enlivened by red liquorice and laid out with fine tannins. Mighty good value.
