Riserva in name and definitely Riserva in flavour intensity and style. On the riper side, textural and mouth filling, the scent is pure honeysuckle and lemon aromas with spiced pear. Fuller in style than many Grigios, it boasts both a richness of fruit expression encompassing layers of musk and gentle honey along with a slice of preserved lemon savouriness to close. All up, one serious Grigio. Has the capacity to match any number of foods.

Based in Melbourne, Jeni created the first wine column in the (then) Sun News-Pictorial before moving over to The Age and becoming that paper’s longest-serving wine writer.
