Chaffey Bros. Düfte Punkt The Aromatic Point 2024

Share

A co-ferment of Riesling, Gewürztraminer and Kerner, a German grape now making its home in the Eden Valley. While it’s not noted on the wine’s label, this is off-dry. The aromatics are delightful and welcoming in aromas of lychee, passionfruit pulp, lime peel, lime cordial, lemon and spice. The touch of spring wildflowers adds a fresh note. The palate sits in the apple, citrus and pear spectrum with spices sprinkled throughout. Boasts a gentle sweetness combined with a warm, lemon curd texture matched to juicy, fresh acidity. Well-suited to drinking now and enjoying with Thai food. Düfte Punkt translates to “fragrant point” and is one of a series of Punkt aromatic whites released by Chaffey Bros.
