Chalk Hill Alpha Crucis Sirius Shiraz 2021

It’s 2021, and it’s still a puppy. The fruit makes a bold statement, all-black and blue fruit, spices, and a bit more at every swirl. The tannins, oh, the tannins. Robust, persistent, consistent, with that lovely bitter tang indicating that those are natural tannins, no artifacts here, only the raw material. The palate is full of fruit, structure, and character. That fruit and those tannins keep on going, donating this wine persistence and, undoubtedly, longevity.
