Clairault MR Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot 2022

Predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot and a twitch of Cabernet Franc. This is potent with dark cherries and Davidson plum jam. Smoked cherry and some fresh gravel and tar. Peppy leaf and the bracken of shrub and dried brown earth. Some raspberries poke their ruby head up on the palate and tannins sweep in with conviction. Some leather and tobacco pouch, oak flavours linger with cinnamon and sweet nutmeg. This will continue to give with time in the cellar or drink now with charred lamb chops.
