Three years old and still coming together, which has to be considered a good thing for the ageing potential of this Cabernet. Still, opening now won’t go unrewarded. Love the dusty, cooked beetroot earthiness on the bouquet with black fruits and a touch of savoury olive. Immediately shows complexity and savouriness. A generous spectrum of Cabernet flavours ensue in black cherry, blackberry, leaf, bracken, dried herbs and a splash of anise. Tannins are firm, oak is nicely placed. Overall, a taut and well composed wine.
