DC Shaw Piccadilly Chardonnay 2022

Powerful stone fruit drive aromatically; yellow nectarine, subtle apricot, and white peach at the fore with some cinnamon spice, subtle quince beneath, and nicely integrated quality cedary oak. A generous and sapid palate that is led by yellow peach, nectarine, and ripe apple – all of which are pure, defined, and absorbing of the oak notes. The finish is long and structural, with a seamless melding of fruit and spice. There’s fruit power and weight in abundance, though it’s beautifully compacted by pithy acid and glossy phenolics. Delicious.
