Di Fabio Winemaker’s Selection Cabernet Sauvignon Cabernet Franc Merlot 2017

This is a quasi-Bordeaux combination that’s working quite beautifully. It’s McLaren Vale sourced, and it’s got that extra time in bottle that’s allowed it all to sit and combine harmoniously. The nose displays a combination of leathery red fruits with a little spice that comes with that aging while the palate displays a textural integration with chalky brick dust tannins, and seamlessly woven oak and fruit. Really starting to hit its drinking zone, which it will hold for some years.
