Forest berry, macerated wild strawberry, red cherry and cherry pit sit above bunchy, twiggy spice aromas. This is all underpinned by an attractive earthen savouriness that brings another dimension and level of complexity beyond the fruit and bunch notes, so impressive for such a young wine. The palate is cooling, compact and laser focused, though not at the expense of intensity and drive. A sappy texture wraps around red cherry, strawberry, bunch spice and earth, all of which seamlessly glide through the palate. Super fine sappy tannins and a latent lick of red fruited acidity lead to an earthy mouth perfume. Wonderful poise, complexity and balance of fruit and savoury nuance.
