Eddystone Point Pinot Gris 2024

Pinot Gris from the excellent 2024 vintage across Tasmania, this comes, more specifically, from the Derwent Valley sub-region. Fermentation was 100% oak, which contributes to the texture and complexity here. Early days for it, but expect it to increase. Deep yellow, there are flecks of bronze here. The aromas weave through stewed pears, apricot skins, green apples, florals and a touch of hazelnuts. The flavours lift even more on the palate. A wine of medium length with coiled power underneath. For drinking over the next four years.
