Eight at the Gate Wrattonbully Cabernet 2019

A single vineyard Cab from the Wrattonbully region, the wine spent 34 months maturing in a mix of new and seasoned French oak. A dark maroon hue, we have notes of cloves, bell peppers, satsuma plums, black olives, leather, dried herbs and blackberries. Seamless with good focus and a fine lingering finish, there is a delightfully creamy texture here punctuated by fine tannins. Expect this to drink well over the next four to six years.
