Opulent and sumptuous, there is something special about a top Botrytised Riesling. It’s all here in a feast for the senses. Rich gold in colour. Equally rich is the highly aromatic aroma in Bickford’s lime cordial, quince paste, cumquat, and buttered toast with lashings of honey. The palate walks a fine tightrope of glorious sweetness and clean, mouth-watering acidity. Sticky? You bet! Flavours are electric and unctuous and deliciously layered. There’s a spiciness, too, among the orange marmalade, citrus peel, lime and honeyed beauty of it all. Delish!
