Forrest Marlborough Chardonnay 2022

Share

Picked ripe and it shows, with an immediate burst in sunny tropical fruit aromas in passionfruit, peach, mango, melon and Meyer lemon. Soft, juicy and easy going thanks to a supple acid profile, this is a Chardonnay that could easily be dismissed on the first taste. However, second time around reveals a greater depth and persistence of flavour, with a solid foundation in citrus which helps tame some of the sweet, ripe, tropical fruit salad qualities. A soft, leesy oatmeal and gentle nuttiness brings extra charm, texture and depth.
