Gibson Wines ‘The Dirtman’ Shiraz 2019

Share

There is a battle going on in the Barossa – new, modern sleek wines up against the more traditional styles with lashings of fruit and normally a fair whack of oak thrown in too – the kind of wines that made drinkers around the world fall in love with the Barossa. This is one of those wines.

Deeply coloured and flavoured – it is packed full of big, fleshy fruits – plum pudding and baked earth with a dusting of spice. It is then dry and voluptuous with a riot of black fruits plus a tarry edge all held in place by sweet oak. Rounded off with a long supple finish, this is one delicious package for fans of Big Barossa.
