Hewitson Miss Harry GSM 2023

Share

Going strong after more than two decades, Hewitson’s Miss Harry Barossa Valley GSM has seen Grenache-based wines take their place at the top of the wine pops, and rightly so. Lighter than Shiraz or Cabernet and just heavier than Pinot Noir, they’re the Goldilocks of reds, just right for the cooler weather. The 2023 Miss Harry, with 35% Grenache, 33% Shiraz and 32% Mourvèdre from old vines (some dating back to the 1800s), is plush and velvety with gorgeous ripe raspberry and blackberry fruit with a juicy mouthfeel, and, as always, is excellent value for money.
