Gioiello Estate Old Hill Chardonnay 2021

From the Upper Goulburn region, this is an impressive Chardonnay. A gleaming yellow/gold in colour, this is still quite youthful with notes of stonefruit, cashews, quality oak, which is still in the process of integrating, and a minerally backing. Appealing citrus notes to start and an attractive style with power and focus. No shrinking violet with good ripeness and balance. Still very young and there is some improvement here. Drink over the next six years.
