Gioiello Mount Concord Syrah 2021

This was an excellent season in the Upper Goulburn Valley and this shows all that is good from that year. There’s a distinct dark red-black fruit on the nose with a slightly earthy undertone. The palate is quite rich and textured with a lavish feel and ripe fruits displaying varietal plumminess with a little spice. There’s a gravelly, grainy textural feel about it which balances the sweeter plush fruits. It’s a medium-bodied wine displaying elegance and poise.
