Tapping fruit from the more specific Lenswood GI within the greater Hills regional GI, first impressions here are ruled by the wine’s distinctive faint bronzed colour, a result of Pinot Gris grapes’ skin tone on the vine. Varietal aromatics also are true to type and style, fresh cut green pear and a delicate floral spice lift. All of this pours into a juicy palate, crisp and refreshing with ample pink lady apple flavour and fulfilling texture. Quite delicious summer drinking.
