Handpicked Collection Tasmania Pinot Noir 2024

Share

Fruit is from two sites in Northern Tasmania, across the Tamar Valley, with quite diverse picking times. Here the wine shows the density and fruit concentration Northern Tas achieves with some cracked cocoa bean, caraway seed and black pepper spice. Some crushed volcanic rock, clove and bitter chocolate richness to finish. A full flavoured wine and a good representation of why we covet the southern state for Pinot Noir. Drink now or cellar for 3-5 years further. This wine calls for slow stews and meaty cuts of chuck in red wine sauce.
