Hay Shed Hill Chardonnay 2021

A coolish year has resulted in wines of some delicacy and finesse. This is one of those. It’s an excellent chardonnay that comes from a block that consistently produces wines of great intensity and richness. It offers a mix of roasted nuts and stone fruit held with precision by a crisp defining acidity. There’s a nice strong lift of vanilla bean and lemon curd on the nose which drifts into the palate. Nice wine for drinking over the next few years.
