Henschke Roeslein Barbera 2022

Made from organic and biodynamic Eden Valley fruit, this is a superb example of local Barbera that spent 10 months in seasoned French oak hogsheads. Has all the cherries, plums and florals you’d expect, with vibrant acidity. Crimson purple in colour, it is exuberant in style with length showing raspberries, plums and spices as well. This will give pleasure any time from now over the next three to four years and longer if you really want to wait, though I’m not too sure why you would. Not that many better Aussie Barbera’s that I can think of.
