Hesketh Twist of Fate Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

A top value Cabernet from the Limestone Coast thanks to fermentation in stainless steel open fermenters for a week, followed by nine months in older French oak barriques and hogsheads. Blood maroon in colour, the nose is redolent of raspberries and redcurrants, mulberries and even a whiff of boysenberries. Medium length on the palate, with plenty of grip, this is attractive drinking now and for the next five to six years. Impressive value.
