Freya & Jules Watervale Riesling 2020

Share

For many Australian Riesling fans, Watervale is god’s country. It’s the cooler section of the Clare Valley and can craft some of South Australia’s most elegant and fine Rieslings. There is a downside – it is never cheap and rarely exceptional value, until now.

The Freya & Jules Watervale Riesling is an exotic but dry Riesling style – yes it’s got those classic aromatic citrus fruits but there is also some guava and even kaffir lime thrown in the mix. It is then dry, crisp and pure with concentrated fruits driven by its zesty acidity plus a lingering finish. Made for early drinking this wine is fantastic value, particularly matched up with fish and chips.

This wine is exclusive to ALDI.
