Koonara Lucy and Alice Pinot Gris 2023

Love the little scale indicator for residual sugar on the back label. This is a dry Pinot Gris with a Pinot Grigio-like nose. The colour is not ghost-white, so I suppose some time on skins has been used. The zest of the ginger makes the first appearance; then it’s time for fragrant white pear, jasmine, and green apple. The palate speaks the Gris language more, with its texture, phenolic weight, and the poached apple with a sprinkle of cinnamon. A tale of two cities for a good wine.
