Kooyong Faultline Chardonnay 2023

By all accounts, the Faultline Vineyard has less ironstone pebbles than some Kooyong blocks, and, yet, there is a definite and attractive contribution of pebbly-like minerality here to enjoy. It goes hand in hand with lively acidity laying a solid foundation for the drinker to enjoy some lovely summer fruits. Nectarine, peach, lemon tart, lemon zest, crushed grilled cashews, vanilla pod and a custardy, creamy texture are tangy and fresh. Plenty of citrus detail to savour. No fining, minimal filtration.
