This excellent shiraz drifts into the modern refined expression of Barossa shiraz, while retaining those essentials of ripe fruit intensity that are part of the regional DNA. It’s a chewy Barossa shiraz from an excellent year, loaded with succulent fruit flavours exhibiting an engaging mix of prune and plum with a dark chocolate, coffee grinds character infusing. On the palate some really interesting characters emerge. There’s a savoury dried herb edge then a little charcuterie adding to it. Bright fruit flavours are delivered with high energy and vibrancy.
