Lindeman’s Limestone Ridge Shiraz Cabernet 2018

Share

This excellent, true blue Aussie blend completes the Coonawarra Trio from Lindemans. The combination works so well with the soft supple flesh of the shiraz being supported and balanced by the more linear and structural cabernet. Chalky supporting tannins with pepper and spicy notes. The palate is medium weight but it has poise and presence. The mouth feel is just superb with that light chalky dusting overlaying the plush deeper red fruits. So bright and lively with a brilliant colour. The 2010 and 2015 were also tasted at this time and both displayed remarkable ageing potential. The 2010 was only just showing the first signs it might be entering a new phase, but it was still energised with youth.
