A chiselled, fine-spun sparkling that unfurls slowly in the glass, revealing ripe lemon, green apple, salted water cracker and brine, before deeper autolytic notes emerge with air—brioche and a sliver of white almond. There’s a lovely sense of coiled linearity here. The palate continues the class, delivering seamless texture and an effortless sense of flow. Chalky grip frames the sides, while attractive bitter tones in a preserved lemon register add nuance. Clean, precise acidity draws the wine long. Class is the word: detail, shape, complexity and length, all held in masterful balance between fruit and autolysis. A strong release.
