Mayfield Single Vineyard Chardonnay 2021

Lots to like here with a mix of power and subtlety, and Orange’s cool climate clearly visible thanks to an array of green mango and nectarine fruits wrapped up in a bed of spicy, nutty oak with gently leesy detail. The package is a picture of elegance with bright acidity and citrus flavours well matched to understated oak. Finely etched detail rises up over a long, crisp finish. While delicious now, give this a couple of years to fill out. Super value.
