This is a slightly different expression to the ‘Session Sangé’, with a touch more concentration and a slightly darker edge. It also opens with a confectionery note, but of raspberry, alongside black cherry, earth, herbs and violets. I found it difficult to decide which Sang I preferred the most, as they’re both very enjoyable. The fruit is juicy and a bit salty, so it paired nicely with a gooey cheese, as well as tacos. There’s only slightly higher alcohol than its sibling (12%) but you won’t even notice it.
