Meerea Park Hell Hole Shiraz 2021

Share

2021 was not the easiest Hunter vintage but Meerea Park have still managed to deliver a modern food style with regional typicity. There is good upfront impact – dark cherry, fruit pastille and baked raspberry aromas well supported by hints of leather and sandalwood with oak sitting in the background. It’s distinctly juicy too – fresh acidity adding an attractive bite to a fleshy palate with gentle grip. Plenty to enjoy, particularly with slow-cooked lamb shanks.
