Monchiero Langhe Nebbiolo 2022

This is a fresh-from-the-boat Nebbiolo, bottled four weeks ago. It is an elegant example, and despite the warmer vintage, is very polished. On the palate, it’s all about minerality with those graphite and tarry elements. Rather bright acidity and muscular tannins contribute to the structured mid-palate; good tension right to the end keeps the wine on its feet.
