Quite open aromas reflecting the 2020 vintage. This is both pretty and powerful. Ripe red rose, tar, roast tomato umami, dried thyme, and a rustic leather shade. The palate is fleshy with lovely fruit sweetness, ripe cherry, rose water, dried rose, and alpine herbs. There’s a plushness to the mid palate before some very present tannins and brisk acidity soak it all up, carrying to a long finish.
