The fine precision of the Mornington Peninsula is evident immediately. On the nose, there’s a fine chalky, slightly savoury character and then through into the palate. That tight line of pear and cut lime with a little bit of cashew richness combines into an expressive, fine linear palate. The striking thing is the sustained power through to the finish, with a chalky acidity adding that final fling.
