From the Mr Riggs Generations Series, a Chardonnay from his home base’s neighbouring Adelaide Hills region where many McLaren Vale producers source the variety for their portfolios. This is crafted to be a more overt style, ripe Chardonnay fruit, the nose displaying a fair bit of flint and char, before grilled peach flavours kick in, albeit with an underline of tangy, citrussy acidity. Not shy, this is a Chardonnay that will confidently work the room.
