Oakridge Henk Chardonnay 2024

A delicate expression of Chardonnay from this Yarra Valley sub-region. The fruit was handpicked and whole bunch pressed directly to French oak puncheons for natural fermentation, followed by 16 months on lees. It displays a minerally, limestoney aromatic profile on the nose with subtle floral hints and a touch of washed brine. The palate reveals a subtle toasty gunsmoke character in the background, with crisp, defining minerally acidity.
