Sauvignon Blanc remains a Hills’ stalwart, a grape variety so in tune with its region that it remains always in demand. Fragrant, aromatic, this ’24 Sauvignon comes with a strong summertime feel to it, bursting in a mix of tropical fruits and citrus. It’s a most persuasive wine, something to tuck into over the dreary winter months. Snow pea, lemon, grapefruit, passionfruit pulp, light herbals and lantana aromas light up the bouquet. Bright acidity mingles with some really zingy fruit tingle lemon drop notes against the tropical fruits. It has a gentle texture, too, just right to match with food. What’s not to like?
